Three years ago, I started working for an accounting firm and I was fairly content with my job. Check out employment attorney Austin. A few months ago I was called down to human resources and told I was being let go. The reason they gave me had something to do with random layoffs, but I found out from a friend that they hired someone to fill my spot. I was the only Hispanic-American there, so I have a reason to believe that this played a role. As a result, I found an employment law attorney and filed a suit against them.
The main problem with this is the fact that the attorney I hired is not very good. While he filed the initial paperwork with the court, it seems like he has not done much else. I have called him numerous times to get an update on my case, but I cannot reach him on the phone at all. I am constantly leaving messages for him and it seems like he is dodging all of my calls. I left him a message this morning and told him that he will be fired if there is no contact in the next week. We will see how this pans out.
